The club was formed on the 21st of June 1977 to promote an interest in collecting, rebuilding and restoring EH Holdens.
Everyone and anyone is welcome. There are no requirements to have a ‘show’ car, a ‘special’ model, or even a finished car. Even if you haven’t bought one yet and need info and are interested, you may find it to be a very beneficial way to get info and other peoples opinions. We are all different, and for that reason, there is no reason that you should feel you wont fit in or be ‘accepted’. EJ-EH’s are a pretty relaxed type of car to own, and for that reason you will find most owners are relaxed also.
Our emphasis is on being a social club where people with a joint interest can get together. Membership is open to anyone who owns an EH or EJ Holden of any body style either standard, modified, show car, daily driver, rat rod style, or has a strong interest in EH /EJ Holdens. It’s your car, and all are accepted. You and your car could benefit so much from a membership.
The advantages of joining the EH Car Club aside from the social aspect are discounts at certain locations including registration and insurance on your vehicle. Sometimes rare opportunities will come up for club members, such as the once in a lifetime invitation from Holden’s Limited for members from our club to visit the secretive Lang Lang test site. We also keep in close contact with EH Clubs in other states.
